New Delhi: Bengaluru-based automobile startup Pravaig Dynamics on Friday launched its Defy SUV, priced at INR 39.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Bookings of the new model have begun at INR 51,000 and deliveries are expected to begin from Q3 2023.
The made-in-India SUV comes with a driving range of around 500 km and 402 BHP power. It gets a French Devialet Implosive sound system, a 15.6-inch touchscreen with Pravaig Multi-face UI and Pravaig Connectivity package, that includes Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay along with ultra-fast media streaming, the company said.
The SUV also gets adaptive LED headlamps, 360-degree camera set-up and a 77GHz solid state radar.
The company has positioned the SUV as a premium electric offering, which will compete with the likes of BMW iX, Kia EV6, Mercedes-Benz EQC and the Audi e-tron.
Pravaig has a manufacturing plant in Bengaluru and plans to commence production with a few thousand units and scale up gradually as the demand grows.
The company also showcased Veer, an off-road military version of the SUV.
