Open AI’s software promises great potential, but also raises security concerns. Microsoft claims to have found the solution for this – and is fueling concerns about dependence on American tech companies.

The statements from IBM indicate what upheavals are coming to the economy. The computer company wants to hire fewer people in the future because some of their work can be done by programs based on artificial intelligence (AI), IBM CEO Arvind Krischna told the Bloomberg financial service. He expects that around a third of the jobs in human resources management could be replaced in five years.

In particular, the progress made by so-called large AI language models has made headlines in recent months. The ChatGPT application from the American company Open AI has been attracting a lot of attention since November 2022 – also in business. According to a survey by the digital association Bitkom, every sixth company is planning to use text robots that can answer a wide variety of questions at a high level.
