Few know the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control, BAFA for short. The authority reporting to Minister of Economics Robert Habeck is one of the most influential in the country. A site visit.

The commercial area west of the Eschborn-Süd S-Bahn station is a meeting place for companies that don’t want to be in the limelight. The technical center of Deutsche Bank has settled here, the communications division of Deutsche Bahn and the temporary work agency Randstad. The office district beyond the Frankfurt city limits is a kind of machine room of the German economy. Here is not represented, but the operation is kept running.
