The world market leader for braking systems in trains depends heavily on the Middle Kingdom. The new Knorr-Bremse boss Marc Llistosella explains how he wants to change that – and why doing business in India simply takes longer.
Mr. Llistosella, as CEO you had three predecessors in four years. How long are you going to hold out in the ejection seat?
When my personal details were published in October last year, the company was betting on how soon I would be rid of. And the rate was very much to my disadvantage (laughs). In the meantime, the odds of those who bet against me have gotten worse. You must expect me to stay. But joking aside: I have the impression that most of our colleagues are looking forward to changes, the atmosphere is certainly good.
