German FAZ: Lots of bargains in Dax006711

The German share of the global economy is around 3 percent. Investors should keep this number in mind when thinking about the stock market. If the estimates for German gross domestic product are a few per mille lower this year, that is not very good for tax revenue and jobs, but for the weal and woe of the profits of the Dax companies, it is only the famous peanuts.

The USA has an 18 percent share of the world market, China 16 percent and India 7 percent. If you are trying to get an impression of how the further economic development of the Dax companies will look this year and next, you should let your eyes wander far and wide. It is not for nothing that the Dax is considered a world economic barometer because of its international orientation and dependence on exports.
