More money for companies only if there is more money for children? The traffic light is noisy again. Everything should get better after the summer break.

Federal Building Minister Klara Geywitz (SPD) actually wanted to speak in front of the Chancellery on Wednesday afternoon about the draft law on municipal heating planning passed by the cabinet. But what was more exciting was what the cabinet had not decided: Finance Minister Christian Lindner’s (FDP) Growth Opportunities Act. Family Minister Lisa Paus (Greens) blocked it. Her point of view: more money for companies only if there is more money for their own project, the so-called basic child security.
