The British luxury car maker Rolls-Royce gets a new boss after 13 years. Christopher Brownridge will take over the position from Torsten Müller-Ötvös, who is retiring, in December, the Rolls-Royce parent company said BMW on Thursday with. Brownridge was most recently responsible for sales for the Munich-based car manufacturer in the United Kingdom and in Ireland directed.
There is also a change at the top in the motorcycle division. Here Markus Flasch takes over the position from Markus Schramm, who is also retiring. Flasch was most recently responsible for the development of middle and upper class vehicles.
BMW marketing boss Jens Thiemer is leaving the car manufacturer at his own request. BMW poached Thiemer from Mercedes in 2019. His successor will be Bernd Körber, who was most recently head of product management at BMW.
Change of board and contract extension
Recently there has been movement on the BMW board. The car manufacturer’s supervisory board surprisingly decided to replace sales director Pieter Nota (59). The successor will be BMWChina-Boss Jochen Goller (57).
