German Manager Magazine: Dramas at Volkswagen, Audi and Mercedes: The new newsletter manage:mobility002948

Dear reader,

The last print edition of manager magazine this year is currently being published. Among other things, I would like to recommend to you the story of my colleague Jonas Rest, who, together with Frederik Obermaier, uncovers a connection between the boom world and the shadowy realm: Through the Berlin venture capitalist Target Global, Russian oligarchs invested many millions in the crème de la crème of German start-ups -Scene. With Auto1, a hyped mobility player also benefited. Of course you can also read the whole story digitally.

The start-up leaks are made possible by documents that were leaked to SPIEGEL, among others, and evaluated by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ). Manager magazin, as part of the SPIEGEL Group, also has access to it.

Our newsletter is also full of exciting stories. These are our topics of the week:

Why Volkswagen’s supervisory board rejected Thomas Schäfer’s savings plans

Why Audi is perhaps the biggest problem in the group

How Mercedes starts a head-money hunt in management
