“Germany needs cheap electric cars” – this sentence is currently being repeated so often by politicians, economists and association representatives that it sounds like a cheap phrase. But this demand ignores how Germany works as a business location. It still sounds desirable that the market would offer more inexpensive battery-electric cars.
