It took two years in some cases until motorhomes and caravans ordered during the Corona boom could be delivered. Those days are over. The delivery time for the listed manufacturer Knaus Tabbert has fallen to six months. What is a reason for joy for customers is a cause for concern for investors. The order backlog has halved within a year. Up until now, a year’s worth of production had always been sold in advance. “That used to be the norm, but since we went public in 2020, investors have only seen very full order books,” says Manuel Taverne, who is responsible for investor relations at Knaus Tabbert. “We consciously brought about the new situation ourselves and, as announced, invested the proceeds from the IPO in expanding production capacities.”
