There is a housing shortage on the one hand and a shortage of skilled workers on the other: Anyone who comes to a new city for a job also needs an apartment – and that is often difficult. In order to attract employees, some employers offer suitable accommodation. This is how the Stuttgart Clinic does it. “The staff apartments are an important component of being an attractive employer for employees,” says CEO Jan Steffen Jürgensen. It makes it easier for some people to get started in Stuttgart until they find their own apartment. “For other employees, the staff apartment is also a long-term opportunity to live close to their workplace.” In April, 170 more new apartments and apartments were opened at the Stuttgart Clinic. In total, it provides living space for around 1,000 skilled workers.
