The week had only just begun when the first protests broke out in Brussels. Employees at the Audi plant who arrived for the early shift found themselves in front of locked gates last Monday. Management quickly locked them out, an escalation in the dispute over the underutilized location in the municipality of Forest in the south of the Belgian capital.
