Federal Economics Minister Robert Habeck has assured the automotive industry of support in selling electric cars. In addition to special depreciation options and discounts for company car drivers, including expensive electric cars, there could be other support measures, said Habeck during a visit to the Volkswagen factory in Emden, where production has been converted to electric cars. Habeck said he wanted to help Volkswagen get through the next period without closing any locations.
