Elon Musk has been fueling the hype for months. “This will be something for the history books,” the billionaire and Tesla boss recently boasted on his social network look forward to it. It is expected that Tesla will present the prototype of a driverless car, a robot taxi that uses the computing power of artificial intelligence (AI) to take its passengers to their destination as if by magic. Expectations are high on the stock market. After all, the promised miracle car, which will apparently be called “Cybercab”, would be the first new Tesla model since the futuristic Cybertruck pick-up model, which the manufacturer first presented in 2019.
