The Car of the Year award has been presented since 1964, known in Germany as “Car of the Year”. There will also be one in 2025. And for the second time since 2022, this is again a slap in the face for German industry. The most coveted prize in the automotive industry is awarded by 60 specialist journalists from 23 European countries who are dedicated to the joy of progress and individual mobility – you could also say: simply the joy of good cars. And this is exactly where there is another big surprise this year.
