The last word on the topic of home office has not yet been spoken. Last week, Deutsche Bank informed its employees that in the future they would only be allowed to work outside the office on two days a week, up from three previously. Managers even have to be present four days a week. CEO Christian Sewing (54), who had already made these demands at the beginning of the year, has thus prevailed. The Otto Group is also making adjustments. From January onwards, employees will be allowed to work from home for a maximum of 50 percent in a “test phase”. Previously there were no hard and fast rules.
