China has banned the export of important goods and raw materials to the US, responding to the Biden administration’s tightened chip sanctions. The Ministry of Commerce in Beijing announced that the export of gallium, germanium and antimony to the USA is now “in principle” prohibited. In addition, the review of graphite exports will be tightened. Goods that could be used for military purposes and whose end user is the US military are also no longer allowed to be exported.
