German FAZ: “Investors were never a topic” 008779

RenĂ© Ruhland likes to stand in two very different worlds with one leg. There is the medium -sized family entrepreneur Ruhland, who leads through his works in Bavarian Olching and Bergkirchen, invested four to five million euros in his machine park every year and built up his company together with his brother without foreign investors. Who was dependent on profits after the foundation and still leads the company together with his wife Anna. And then there is the start-up founder Ruhland. The “full gas culture” in the company, which talks about “tech drives” growth, about software as a differentiation feature. Ruhland appreciates this balancing act. “I feel very privileged that we can work on the machines with software developers and shift workers at the same time,” he says. “This mixture is our company.”
