German FAZ: Pretty Laaaaaang008937

Close bends, gentle mountains, winding valleys and in between a few villages with well -kept gastronomy: For motorcyclists, the streets in the Gleiberger Land in Central Hesse are a dream. But for Hannes Fischer and Martin Schuster they are hell: instead of a Harley-Davidson or a thick BMW, the two Austrians have to have a heavy transport through the hinterland of Gießen. With one that is not just twice as heavy as a fully loaded saddle tractor, but above all one that is more than four times as long. And a saddle tractor measures 16.50 meters. Fischer and cobbler literally give the energy transition initiated by politics and bring the huge rotor blades to new wind turbines – even if the highway is in the far angle. And you and your colleagues have a good deal to do with it. After all, 635 new wind turbines were put into operation in Germany alone last year.
