In the end it was faster than expected. The Union and SPD already presented their coalition agreement on Wednesday. At the unusually punctual press conference, it became clear that the new alliance wants to tackle rule as quickly, dynamically and in the end of the should. The government was under pressure, not least thanks to the American challenge with new tariffs, the leaning financial markets and an erratic security policy.
