The Startin Group has bought Peugeot and Suzuki dealerships in St Peters Worcestershire from Hylton Group.
Startin is rated 167 in the Motor Trader Top 200 dealer groups with annual turnover of £54.1m. The company head office is in Redditch, where it represents Peugeot, Fiat and Kia. It also has Honda in Stourbridge and Worcester and Skoda in Powick.
ASE Chairman, Mike Jones, who brokered the deal said: “It’s great to have acted on behalf of Hylton Group in the sale of this business, which should prove a great fit for the Startin Group.
“It is very pleasing to see the continued growth of the Startin Group as they add another franchise to their portfolio which should be perfect for their business approach.”
Gerald Freeman, managing director of Startin Group said “we are delighted to be taking on our second Peugeot dealership in a territory where we are well known with Skoda and Honda.
“We are also excited to be getting into partnership with Suzuki which is new to us although we have been talking on and off for some time.
“This will be our fifth site and third multi franchise site. We have great confidence in the Peugeot brand going forward and Suzuki a great addition to our current portfolio.”
