Large heaps of new cars around Bremerhaven could be considered to be a sign that things are going well here, at one of the world’s largest auto -terminals that run the semi -state BLG Logistics. More than a thousand ship vans are ongoing the port every year. More than 1.5 million cars are handled here, almost a third of them come from America or go to America. But now the heaps could continue to grow because the global car business is slowed down. It’s not just about the Trump tariffs. The BLG business with vehicle imports from China recently got a damper after the EU took the import of electric cars from China with tariffs between 17 and 35 percent last autumn.
