Oliver Zipse did not save with big words. The BMW boss spoke of a “milestone in automotive history” in September last year. In 2028, BMW will launch its first series vehicle with hydrogen fuel cell as a drive, Zipse announced. The new car should “herald an era with a significant demand for fuel cell electric vehicles”, according to the BMW boss.
