Wiesbaden. Around 700 entries have reached the Hessian bureaucracy registration portal in the eight months since the start by the end of March 2025. This was announced by the responsible ministry at a request from the FDP parliamentary group. The online portal was activated in July 2024. Citizens can call processes and regulations here that, in their view, should be simplified. The reported cases are not only related to the state level, but also to experiences in local authorities or requirements of the EU and the federal government, said Entdemocratization Minister Manfred Pentz (CDU). 122 inquiries would currently be examined in the specialist departments of the Hessian ministries. The other inquiries were answered directly by the ministry of the Deputy Office. A series of reports and suggestions were taken up, some of them were already implemented, were in the legislative procedure or were discussed in the Federal Council. The minister cites the elimination of the permission of the permission of rainwater and the detoxification of the pasture protection guideline. Inputs from the bureaucracy detector have also been incorporated into the present amendment to the Hessian building regulations. “The state government continuously checks which further proposals can be included in new legal setting projects or Federal Council initiatives,” explains Pentz.
