The ranking of the best paid DAX CEO last year is cited by Volkswagen boss Oliver Blume and Adidas boss Bjørn Gulden. Both have received more than ten million euros for the past year, this is evident from calculations by the German Protection Association for Securities Obescent (DSW) and from scientists from the TU Munich. In 2024, Gulden received around 10.3 million euros as a total remuneration, followed by the German Bank boss Christian Sewing with around 9.9 million euros, SAP boss Christian Klein with 9.3 million euros and alliance boss Oliver Bäte with 8.4 million euros. However, there are different calculation methods for managers, which differ significantly. The problem is, in particular, in particular how long -term remuneration components that run for many years and are often paid for delayed are calculated down to individual years. In order to increase the comparability, the researchers of the TU Munich and the DSW adjust the so -called “granted and owed” remuneration. In the often 40 to 50 -page remuneration reports, a number of other figures are often mentioned, the names of which are not uniform and that have changed over the years. The problem of lack of comparability has also increased by the fact that the pure fixed remuneration for top managers is now only a very small part of the overall remuneration. The majority of the board of directors is variable and depends on whether the managers achieve certain targets. The long -term variable remuneration components – often linked to the company’s stock price – are much more decisive than the short -term variable remuneration, which is known as the “annual bonus”. The shift to long-term remuneration-especially after the criticism of too high manager salaries during the financial crisis-was politically wanted. This year, the DSW numbers in the SAP remuneration report in the SAP remuneration report. While his boss Christian Klein, according to the total remuneration for 2024, is significantly below the ten-million euro mark, according to the SAP remuneration report, 8.8 million euros were granted to him, but he was really almost 19 million euros, as can be read in the report. However, a large part of it comes from the tranche of a long -term remuneration program granted earlier. Adidas boss Björn Guldenhanah Hlavacekekjteit Methodical Questions, according to DSW, rose moderately last year. On average, DAX board members earned almost 3.8 million euros last year, which was three percent more than in the previous year. Top earners were the board members of Deutsche Bank, who on average came to a salary of almost 7.1 million euros. Last year, Siemens Energy’s board of directors received the least, the DSW study quantifies its average references to 1.2 million euros per board. Reason for the comparatively low references: Siemens Energy must not grant his board members a variable remuneration because the company has claimed Germans. His total remuneration of almost 8.4 million euros exceeds the salary of a number of DAX CEO. SAP financial board member Dominik Asam (6.2 million) and VW Finance board member Arno Antlitz (5.8 million) also deserved very well. AB-INBEV boss Michel Doukerisab Inbevintering is also a look at the so-called “verticality”. It indicates how much money the board members receive compared to the average personnel expenses per employee of the same company. On average, this factor is 40. The gap between the employees and the top managers was already greater in the past, namely with values of more than 50. According to DSW, the value in the period from 2014 to 2021 was relatively constant in the bandwidth between 48 and 54, then fell significantly below the brand of 40 in 2022 and has been slightly rose again since then. Microsoft CEO SATYA NADELLAAFPIM International comparison are “relatively low-compensated” according to the DSW. VW boss Blume is fifth in the Euro Stoxx 50. The boss of the largest brewery group in the world based in Belgium deserves more than twice the world, from Inbev. Their CEO Michel Doukeris is the leader in the Euro Stoxx 50 with a salary of almost 24.3 million euros. His salary rose by more than 50 percent last year, especially because the long -term remuneration rose sharply. The salaries of the companies listed in America in America are even higher. Microsoft boss Satya Nadella was granted around 73 million euros for 2024.
