An attempt to create more competition, innovation and consumer protection with clear rules – by making data from the Internet of Things more easily accessible and changing providers in the cloud: From mid -September onwards, the EU Data Act becomes binding. But what does the procedure really bring? Will new data -driven business models actually be enforced by regulation instead of clever incentives? The commercial effects of the law remains limited if legal requirements alone are not sufficient to actually establish new market behavior.
