There are therefore good reasons to consider the introduction of a south bonus, at least when the power plant capacities of five to ten gigawatts required at short notice, he says. Before the application, however, the Federal Government should check the amount of generation in the south and whether this amount could also be ensured without discrimination, says Lorenz.
