Another compact SUV from China At the Guangzhou Auto Show 2025, Changan presented the compact electric SUV Q05, which is scheduled to come to Europe at the end of 2026 under the model name E06. Visually, the newcomer follows the usual style of the class: an aerodynamically smoothed outer skin with pronounced curves, narrow lighting units and flush door handles. The 4.44 meter long four-door model offers five seats and a 545 liter trunk, which grows to up to 1,380 liters when the rear seat is folded down. There is also a 90 liter frunk under the front hood. The wheelbase of 2.74 meters promises plenty of space in the rear. The interior features a digital cockpit with a 10-inch driver display and a 15.6-inch touchscreen in the middle. Radar, lidar and several cameras are intended to enable an expanded range of assistance and partially automated driving functions. The drive is provided by a 200 kW/272 hp front motor, embedded in a 400-volt architecture and powered by a 62 kWh LFP battery. Changan states a consumption of around 16 kWh and a range of 450 kilometers. The maximum DC charging power should be 162 kW. The prices for the E06, Changan is still keeping a low profile here, should start at around 35,000 euros.
