Cheaper entryThe Kia K4 can now be ordered and costs at least 28,900 euros. The compact five-door model, which succeeds the Ceed, is powered in the basic version by a 1.0-liter gasoline engine with an output of 85 kW/115 hp, which is coupled to a six-speed manual transmission. A variant with mild hybrid technology and seven-speed dual clutch transmission is available for 30,900 euros. There is also a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with either 110 kW/150 hp or 132 kW/180 hp, with a full hybrid following at the end of the year. The standard equipment in the entry-level “Core” model includes a navigation system, reversing camera, 16-inch steel wheels and adaptive cruise control. Above them are the “Vision”, “Spirit” and “GT-Line” variants, which offer, among other things, extras such as digital car keys and a head-up display. In addition to being available as a sedan, the K4 is also available as a station wagon for an additional charge of 29,900 euros. With a length of 4.70 meters, it towers over the five-door model by around 30 centimeters.
