Just for comparison – the electric Smart Forfour has a range of about 150 km.

The Ora R1 shines especially at its cost, the subsidized price should be at the equivalent of 7,600 euros. The vehicle is promised a warranty of three years or 120,000 km. Core components such as the engine and battery are guaranteed for eight years or 150,000 km.

In October 2017, BMW was talking with Chinese carmaker Great Wall to talk about a possible production of the Mini as an e-car in China. In July 2018, BMW and Great Wall Motor have one agreement for the production of the electric mini signed in China as part of a joint venture. In addition to the E-Mini, the joint venture will also manufacture electric vehicles for Great Wall Motor. So far it is not known if the Ora R1 is affected.
