Mr Krüger, you have been head of the BMW Group since May 2015. How were the first two and a half years in office?
HARALD KRÜGER A lot has happened. Also, much that I did not expect so. The world has become more volatile. The German car industry provides hundreds of thousands of jobs, investing billions of euros in innovations and yet being pilloried. Nevertheless, I am satisfied overall.
That wonders us. When you took the job, BMW was the world’s number one premium manufacturer. Meanwhile, Daimler is ahead. Pretty much even.
