The Spanish car company Seat sold 38,900 vehicles worldwide in October, which represents a decrease of 11.4% compared to the same month in 2019, according to data presented this Friday by the Volkswagen car group.
Thus, the brand based in Martorell (Barcelona) became the second brand of the German consortium that fell the most last month, only surpassed by Scania, which registered 7,700 vehicles worldwide in October, 19.4% less.
So far this year, the Spanish company has accumulated sales of 355,800 cars, 28.7% less than the 498,700 cars it sold between January and October of the previous year.
In total, the Volkswagen group recorded sales of 903,200 vehicles worldwide in October, 4.9% less, while so far this year its deliveries fell by 17.3%, to 7.40 million units.
