Pushkar Sinha, Vice President (Sales, Business Development, and Customer Care), at Atul Auto Limited (AAL) has recently resigned from his position, a source aware of the matter told ETAuto. He joined the three-wheeler manufacturing company in Rajkot, Gujarat in January 2021.

ETAuto has learned that he stepped down from the position after a stint of almost a year and a half due to personal reasons.

At Atul Auto Sinha was responsible for sales, marketing, strategy, dealer development, retail finance, team management, and channel management for ICEs and EVs.

Sinha having over two decades of experience in the automobile industry started his career in Tata Motors in 1997 and worked there for over a decade to March 2007 from starting his career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee to Commercial Manager, East, responsible for after sales planning, RSO management, TBEM/ ISO process owner, CRM -Siebel implementation for the entire East Sales.

Later in the year 2007, Sinha joined Bajaj Auto Ltd. as Regional Manager of the Northern area and had a brief stint until 2012 when he joined Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited as a Deputy General Manager and Head of Small Three-Wheeler Business. Initially at Piaggio, he strategized volume and market share targets, production planning, and formulated service and spare parts availability strategy. He also planned retail initiatives through promotional activities and supervised ISO Audits and compliance.

In 2015, he was elevated as the Head of Sales and Customer Care, Exports for Sri Lanka wherein, his role was to manage distribution and inventory activities, shipping monitoring, and retail sales for all products to be exported to Sri Lanka.

Later in 2016, he was once again promoted at Piaggio as the Head of Sales and Business Development, Alternative Fuel and Electric Vehicles. In this role, he was responsible for volume and market share targets for alternate fuel vehicles pan India.

With Piaggio, Sinha had a stint of more than eight years.

He also had a brief stint with Euler Motors in the year 2020 where he worked for three months as Assistant Vice President, Sales, and Marketing. Hewas responsible for all India sales and marketing for niche EV products.
