Kourosh Mansory, the founder, and owner of Mansory Modification House has always had a soft spot for sports cars. He spent much of his career in England, dedicating himself to various automotive traditions, engineering technology and craftsmanship. The company came into being in 1989, and began working on Aston Martins, Rolls Royces, Bentleys and Ferraris. The company moved from Munich to Fichtelgebirge.
At its new location in Brand, the talented team of high-end tuning is found turning high-performance cars into wilder machines. After having taken over Porsche-Tuning from Swiss Rinspeed AG towards the end of 2007, Mansory further expanded its product portfolio. The company’s target has always been to develop and sell a tuning and accessory program for Porsche, Ranger Rover and BMW.
Mansory’s levels of technical precision, quality and craftsmanship have been some of the brand’s strong points. Combined with aerodynamics programs, power engine performance upgrades and ultra-light aluminum rims, the cars tailor-made by Mansory are the stuff of dreams. With top-quality accessories and fashionable interior trims, these cars are no match for standard supercars, SUVs, and luxury cars.
Customers can have their cars ordered with lavish interiors with bright or elegant colors, based on their preference. These interiors can be flashy but also ensure the best comfort. Mansory has sales partners across the globe, through selected dealerships. Mansory’s F8XX Spider is based on the Ferrari F8 Tributo, but it started with the coupe.
So while we have two new super sports cars based on the marvelous Ferrari, it’s the latest Spider we’ve got our focus on for the moment.
Mansory F8XX Looks Crazy As An Open-Top
The Mansory F8XX looks menacing alright, and clearly reflects high-performance intentions, but the F8XX Spider looks way cooler, and with its lightweight construction, it is made to cater to the client’s expectations of a Mansory product.
When Mansory converts a regular-looking car to something it knows is going to hit the right notes, it’s bound to boggle the minds of those looking at it – and it’s not just the looks; these cars are tuned to deliver extraordinary performance, and they had better, because with the way these things look, you’d expect screaming exhausts and neck-snapping acceleration.
While the coupe is finished in Catania Green and gets gold striping, the F8XX Tributo Spider shows off its beautiful satin-finished British Racing Green hue with yellow racing stripes that make the green color pop. The side profile gets the same huge ‘F8XX’ lettering from the coupe, and the forged YT.5 Air wheels look spectacular, with 21-inchers in the front and 22-inchers at the rear.
There are numerous details on the F8XX Tributo Spider that are hand-crafted with immense care to achieve the highest possible standards – and this eventually pays off the moment the car is ready to present itself to the beholder. To some, the F8XX Tributo Spider may seem a bit too extreme, but lets fact it: that’s what all these Mansory-tuned cars all about – and to those who can see the beauty, it immediately becomes art.
There’s a lot that goes into the making of its lightweight body components made of forged carbon, black forged rims and multiple modifications made to the cockpit, with the best leather. Mansory has manufactured the Ferrari aerodynamic components without any changes, and are made exclusively from ultra-light material carbon, or ‘forged carbon’.
The front apron, side skirts and rear apron, all add to the aggressive look, while meeting aerodynamic requirements, but it’s the rear ‘wings’ on either side, looking like an ‘L’, that add drama furthermore. We can’t think of a ‘normal-looking’ supercar with styling as otherworldly as this. Mansory definitely knows how to light a fire under its customers.
An Equally Outlandish Trim For the Mansory F8XX Spider
The cockpit of the Mansory F8XX Spider hasn’t been spared either. The interior specialists have created what is easily a great atmosphere, but one that combines design and comfort, without forgetting functionality. The colors on the inside are unique to the F8XX Spider, and all of it has been done to match the exterior paintwork.
The steering wheel, seats, dashboard, and seat belts come in a combination of British Racing Green and yellow racing stripes. The colors might seem a bit too jarring at first, but to someone who buys Mansory-tuned cars often, and for that one car enthusiast who’s always been dreaming of one, it nails it. There are parts inside that are accentuated with carbon, lots of Mansory logos, and Mansory floor mats.
More Power For The Mansory F8XX Spider
Mansory has managed to extract more power for the Spider and Coupe over the stock Ferrari F8 Tributo. So the mid-engine V8 now makes 880 hp and 722 lb-ft of torque, compared to the standard Ferrari’s 720hp and 567 lb-ft of torque.
Extensive modifications have been carried out on the engine management and exhaust system. However, the drivability and responsiveness from the standard 3.9-liter engine hasn’t been touched. The F8XX Spider can sprint from 0-60mph in under 3 seconds, and can reach a top speed of 354kph.
Mansory F8XX Spider Makes The F8 Tributo Look Bland
This is one of those cars that is made for the man who doesn’t only want to look cool in his supercar, but also wants to show the world the kind of wealth he’s been blessed with. A well-heeled car enthusiast will buy a Ferrari, but when that well-heeled enthusiast has had enough of normality, he goes and buys one of these!
