Ford EcoSport review

The Ford EcoSport has never been a favourite of ours, but credit where it’s due: the most recent facelift means that it’s more of a threat to rival compact crossovers than before. In particular, that’s thanks to big aesthetic improvements in the cabin brought about by a smart new Fiesta-inspired dashboard. The addition of some… Continue reading Ford EcoSport review

Ford Mondeo review

A large boot and plenty of room for passengers make the Mondeo a highly practical choice The Mondeo’s rakish looks don’t compromise its interior functionality. There’s plenty of space for five adults and a big boot. A deep centre armrest, big cupholders and extra space behind the floating centre console mean oddment storage in the… Continue reading Ford Mondeo review

New Ford F-150 Raptor pick-up 2018 review

You may not have even heard of the Ford F-150, and in one sense there’s no reason why you should – it has never, and likely will never go on sale in the UK, nor even in Europe. But in the USA it has consistently topped the outright sales charts since its creation in 1948.… Continue reading New Ford F-150 Raptor pick-up 2018 review

Ford Focus review

With a strong range of petrol and diesel engines, the Focus is refined and relatively cheap to run, while the driving experience is top notch The Focus has clearly been designed with comfort and efficiency in mind, but Ford’s talented engineers haven’t neglected handling. It’s certainly a more exciting steer than a Kia Cee’d and it… Continue reading Ford Focus review

Ford C-MAX review

Spacious enough but rear passenger space can be tight if carrying a car full of people Despite its relatively compact dimensions, the C-MAX is a very practical car. It has 471 litres of boot space – slightly more than the Renault Scenic’s 437 litres, but way down on the Citroen C4 Picasso‘s 537 litres. With… Continue reading Ford C-MAX review

Land Rover Defender (2012-2016) review

After a run of more than 60 years, the Land Rover Defender finally stopped production on 29 January 2016. It marked the end of a true British motoring legend, and only the original Mini can challenge the Defender’s place in the hearts of the British population. However, it’s fair to say that the Mini could… Continue reading Land Rover Defender (2012-2016) review

Jaguar XF review

Smooth performance and slick auto gearboxes define the range – but the 2.0 diesel is a bit noisy Thanks to its aluminium underpinnings, the XF is relatively light compared to its rivals, which helps the way it rides and handles. The suspension keeps the body tied down nicely during cornering, so there’s plenty of composure… Continue reading Jaguar XF review

&nbspPrize awarded for third year in a rowLamborghini excels in Human Resources policy managementStephan Winkelmann: “Our Human Resources are the bedrock for challenges in the immediate future.”
Sant'Agata Bolognese, 10 February 2016 – For the third year in a row, Automobili Lamborghini has obtained the prestigious Top Employer Italy 2015 certification, an honor bestowed each year by the Top Employers Institute on companies with excellent workplace environments and advanced policies in Human Resource management.
The Top Employer certification program is a process lasting about a year; after a structured investigation and verification procedure in which nine criteria are considered – including salary policies, working conditions and benefits, training and professional growth, career opportunities and corporate culture – only companies that attain the highest scores are awarded the certification.
Automobili Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann commented, “The Top Employer certification endorses our investment and belief in Human Resources, which is a cornerstone to facing challenges in the immediate future, such as the introduction of the third model and the doubling of the Sant'Agata Bolognese factory.”
Umberto Tossini, Human Resources and Organization Manager at Automobili Lamborghini, added, “Motivation and attractiveness are different faces of the same coin. They are the starting point of many initiatives concerning care of our people – ensuring personal wellbeing – and important collaborations with universities and schools, to make working and academic life meet.” Lamborghini currently counts 1,300 employees at its historic factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese. 2015 was an extraordinary year: as many as 150 highly-qualified technicians and specialists were employed. In the last five years, Lamborghini hired almost 600 people through open-ended contracts. The company is driven by its Ethical Responsibility: a virtuous circle of people management which aims for continuous improvement.
Umberto Tossini, Human Resources and Organization Manager at Automobili Lamborghini, added, “Motivation and attractiveness are different faces of the same coin. They are the starting point of many initiatives concerning care of our people – ensuring personal wellbeing – and important collaborations with universities and schools, to make working and academic life meet.”
