Stuttgart/Paris. New additions to the exclusive smartphone cover collection from Mercedes-Benz and cooperation partner CG Mobile from Paris are smartphone covers made of liquid silicone, genuine leather, and of real carbon fibres. They come in different sizes for iPhone® 7/8, iPhone® 7/8 Plus and iPhone® X. The collection is rounded off by an assortment of high-quality nylon bags for computers and tablets.
The new silicone covers are pleasantly soft to the touch and feature a microfibre inner liner with Mercedes-Benz logo design. They are available in the classic colours navy blue, black, red, and beige. Also new in the smartphone cover collection are leather covers, whose sweeping, organic lines are reminiscent of car bodies. Other models are perforated and thereby take up details of the interior design of luxurious Mercedes-Benz models. The leather covers are available in five different designs, six colours (walnut brown, “Marrakech”, black, red, crystal grey, white), and both as hinged book-style and hard-case versions. The characteristic feature of all covers is the embedded Mercedes-Benz star rivet.
Other innovations include silver or black smartphone covers made of a combination of real carbon fibres and aluminium. A Mercedes-Benz star adorns the integrated aluminium band with rounded corners. Another highlight is a cover made of real carbon fibres and smooth leather book-style case that has a small pocket for keeping the credit card.
New additions to the product range from CG Mobile are high-quality and durable bags. The selection consists of a backpack for 15-inch laptops, two shoulder bags for 8 and 10-inch computers, a case for a 13-inch laptop, a business bag for devices measuring up to 15 inches, and a messenger bag, likewise for devices of up to 15 inches.
The bags are made of soft, robust nylon fabric and leather, whose pattern is reminiscent of the interior design of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The Mercedes-Benz star rivet adorns the smooth leather element here as well. Reinforced inside pockets provide safe transport of computer or tablet. Additional zippered pockets hold pens, notepads and personal items.
Anyone who travels a lot with a smartphone, laptop or tablet will be familiar with the problem of running out of battery. The two new portable chargers from Mercedes-Benz and cooperation partner CG Mobile allow you to recharge when you're miles from the nearest socket. The high-quality power bank with built-in rechargeable lithium polymer battery is available in two sizes and capacity levels (5000 and 10,000 milliampere hours (mAh)). Common features are the fast USB connection and four LEDs to indicate the charge level. A USB charging cable is included. A raised metallic Mercedes star on the front of the black chargers rounds off the design.
Also part of the range is a 2-in-1 cable for charging and syncing iPhone®, iPad® and iPod® models. The compact cable features Lightning and micro USB connectors.
