This Supercar Collector Reveals What Is Next For His Garage – HotCars

Tim Burton aka Shmee150 is one of the most prolific content creators in the Automotive Industry, averaging more than a video per day for the past 13 years. So, it’s no surprise that he’s had a busy year. In his latest video uploaded to his Youtube Channel, he recaps on his 2022 as well as his plans for 2023 with some big updates to his extremely impressive supercar collection.

Let’s find out about Tim’s year in review and his plans for 2023.

The Full Shmee Collection And A Lot Of Mileage

Viewers are constantly asking to see the full car collection in one place, and while Tim admits that it’s logistically difficult to achieve, it is something he’s aiming to do in the Summer of 2023. He explains that the last they were all in one place was the 18th of January 2020 for his YouTube channel’s 10th anniversary. Since then, he’s had cars across Europe, the US, and the Middle East.

All of that driving across continents means his cars rack up a lot of mileage, and the totals for 2022 might shock you. The annual mileage is 44,000 miles across the fleet, and Burton expects that to reach 46,000 miles by the end of the year. This total doesn’t include press cars, loaner cars, or other cars that he estimated would add another 10,000 miles.

Unsurprisingly, the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series has clocked the most miles at 8,700. This is thanks to the tours across the Middle East and the US. The Ferrari GTC V12 Lusso is next at 6,800 miles having toured around Europe and now serving as Shmee’s everyday car in the UK. The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 picked up 4,600 miles on the Gumball 3000, while the Ferrari SF90 clocked a surprising 4,600 miles. Bringing up the rear are the Lamborghini Hurrican STO 3200 and The Mercedes-AMG SLS Black Series with 2,700 miles each.

Burton explains the importance of not leaving your cars to sit in a garage unused. He explains that he makes sure his cars do at least 500-1,000 miles per year to avoid issues creeping up.

The Exciting New Arrivals For Shmee’s Supercar Collection

The first of five new additions to the collection is the Special limited edition Lego McLaren Senna. The full-size 1:1 scale replica of the McLaren Senna is, you guessed it, made entirely of Lego. The model contains approximately 470,000 Lego pieces and took about three to four thousand hours to build.

Next up is the Lotus Amira first edition which has yet to arrive. Shmee explains that taking a winter delivery of this car has proven difficult as he ordered it on sport Cup 2 tires. Making a welcome return to the Shmuseum is the Formula One show car. Originally delivered a year ago at Christmas, the car has been off getting stripped down and repainted, and will return in full 1997 championship-winning Williams FW19 livery.

The fourth car making its way to the garage is the Zenvo TSRS which Burton originally had delivered to Denmark in early September. The car was then trucked to Croatia for the hypercar tour and then back to the factory for a check over and adjustment. Burton tells us that the final car is a secret, but that it will be very cool if he can pull it off.

Finally, Shmee tells us about his plans for 2023 which are shaping up to be just as busy as the last. He’s compiled a shortlist of twelve to fifteen cars that he has his eye on, with a special focus on cars he was into when he was younger, like his Cleo V6 or BMW 1M.

His GT Black Series tour will continue all the way back to the UK. Starting from California and moving across the south and up the east coast to New York before shipping it back home. This means he’ll be spending a lot of time in the US, but he also has plans to get back on the road around Europe.

Burton wraps up with a sincere thanks to all his viewers and mentions that by the end of the week he will have over one billion views on his YouTube videos. This is an incredible achievement and is a testament to how much time and effort he puts into providing automotive content to his viewers.
