BMW X3 is newBMW is relaunching the X3. The mid-range SUV grows in length by a good 3 centimeters to 4.78 meters, but is around 2.5 centimeters lower. The large kidney grille at the front and a clearly upward curved side window line are visually striking. Inside, the concave display moves in from the Munich-based company’s other new models. It is operated via fingertips and an additional rotary-push control. Voice commands should also play an important role. When it comes to the drive, BMW relies on four and six cylinders as well as electrical help. The entry-level petrol engine is initially a 153 kW/208 hp 2.0-liter engine with mild hybrid technology; the diesel range starts with 2.0 liters and 145 kW/197 hp. There is also a 220 kW/299 hp plug-in hybrid with a standard range of 81 kilometers and, as the top engine, a 3.0-liter six-cylinder gasoline engine with 293 kW/398 hp and mild hybrid technology. All-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmission are on board in every variant.
