If the question arises about a compact SUV, most people will snap their fingers and shout VW Tiguan. There are good reasons for this, because the model from Wolfsburg is the best-selling and most popular SUV in the 4.50 meter class, even though it has “only” been available for sale for 17 years. Kia can only smile sheepishly. Their competing product, the Sportage, has been driving around in this country for 30 years, but remains well behind the Wolfsburg-based car’s registration numbers.
