Paris Auto Show with German BrandsGerman car manufacturers are returning to Paris: In addition to VW and Audi, BMW also wants to be represented at the auto show in the fall (October 14th to 20th), as “Automotive News” reports. Another strong-selling brand, Skoda, is making a comeback. Other participants include the French brands Citroen, DS, Peugeot from the Stellantis Group and Renault with its subsidiaries Dacia and Alpine. According to the report, Kia is represented from Korea; so far the only Chinese brand is Seres. There have already been cancellations from Mercedes, the VW sisters Cupra and Seat, Ford, Hyundai, Jeep, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, Volvo, Polestar and Zeekr. No decision has yet been made at Toyota, Fiat and Alfa Romeo, among others. Nevertheless, the return of the German brands in particular is likely to add value to the Paris Auto Show after it was relegated to an almost purely French exhibition at the last edition in 2022. The premieres of the new edition include the seven-seat crossover VW Tayron and the Audi A6 E-Tron.
