For Oliver Blume it was always clear that it would be a tough job. Since autumn 2022, he has led the sports car manufacturer Porsche and its parent company Volkswagen. Supported by governors in Wolfsburg and Stuttgart, he wanted to divide working time between both tasks, a model that experts in good corporate governance criticized from the outset. Now it is becoming increasingly clear: the constellation is a problem. Blume should hand over leadership of Porsche and concentrate on VW.
