Faster from the yardIn July, the average waiting time for used cars fell to 92.9 days, around 2 days or 2.2 percent less than in the previous month. According to mobile.de’s evaluation, mid-range vehicles left the dealer’s yard particularly quickly. On average, they spent 81.6 days on this platform (minus 3.2%). Upper mid-range vehicles required an average of 83.3 idle days (minus 3%) to change ownership, followed by vans with 85.5 days (minus 2.5%) and compacts (87.3 idle days, minus 2.6%). In its analysis, Mobile.de took into account almost half (46%) of the approximately 1.4 million cars advertised on its platform.
