Loud Lada, quiet LynkAmong the newly registered cars in Germany in 2023, Lada brand vehicles are the loudest, as a graphic from Statista shows based on data from the Federal Motor Transport Authority. Accordingly, the average driving noise level of all Russian brand cars registered last year is 73.6 decibels. This is followed by the brands Morgan (73.4 decibels), Lamborghini (72.3), Aston Martin (72.1), Lotus (72.1), Ferrari (71.9), Bentley (71.6), Alpine ( 71.4) and Ineos (71.2). At the bottom of the ranking there are only brands from the Far East such as Nio (66), Nissan (66), Honda (65.9), Mazda (65.7), Lynk & Co (65.1) and the Chinese manufacturer Great Wall Motors, which offers the quietest cars on average at 64 dB. The loudest German manufacturer is Porsche with an average of 70.3 decibels, the quietest German brand is Smart with 66 decibels.
