More than 100 mostly former VW managers are defending themselves in court against the new austerity measures in Wolfsburg. A total of around 120 cases are pending at the Braunschweig Labor Court, the first 27 are scheduled to be heard on October 15, said a court spokesman. The proceedings are about a salary increase and a 1,000 euro bonus that VW had canceled for its senior employees. The “Braunschweiger Zeitung” had previously reported.
