The crisis in the auto industry has also reached the German flagship companies Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Both car manufacturers are struggling with the difficult economic situation, especially in China. Mercedes sold 170,700 vehicles in the world’s largest car market in the third quarter, 13 percent less than the previous year. Things went even worse for BMW.
