The latest addition to an extremely small circle are Bettina Orlopp and Karin Rådström. Both made it to the top of two of the country’s largest companies on October 1st: Orlopp is now in charge of Commerzbank, Rådström is in the executive chair of Daimler Truck. In doing so, they are strengthening Merck boss Belén Garijo, who until then was the only woman at the top of a DAX 40 company. Tripling the number of female CEOs in just one day – that sounds wonderful.
