German FAZ: The Russian boom in Mercedes trucks008268

Russia is using more and more German trucks to supply its troops in Ukraine with ammunition and supplies. Mercedes trucks from the German group Daimler Truck and its partners are particularly often used, and to a lesser extent also trucks from the Volkswagen subsidiaries MAN and Scania. Because the EU has banned their exports to Russia, they mostly reach the country indirectly through joint venture partners and intermediaries. Very often the route goes through Chinese intermediaries.
