Electric cars don’t just come from China, they also come from Eisenach. Opel has been sending its Grandland out into the world from this traditional location for a year now, as a hybrid with a somewhat narrow 145 horsepower, as a plug-in hybrid with 195 horsepower and as an electric SUV with 213 or 325 horsepower like in the test car. No current Opel is more powerful. This is accompanied by an all-wheel drive called AWD, implemented by a motor on the front and rear axles. AWD is new on offer, the variant with 82 kWh battery has been deleted, 72 kWh is now standard. A 97 kWh battery will be added to the range in November, but not for the AWD version.
