Finally a limousine again. Anticipation is spreading in view of all the long-legged SUVs that are not only on the streets, but also in the editorial garage. Now the C-Class is not a completely new car; Mercedes-Benz has been building the current generation, called the 206 series, since 2021. So it has already been a guest with us, once as an off-road station wagon, once as a sedan with two drives, an electric motor plus a gasoline engine. This, on the other hand, is about the 220d with a diesel engine, i.e. the drive principle with which the Stuttgart-based company has always thrilled company car drivers and other mileage collectors.
