The Art Basel art fair welcomes you with white flags: 365 silk scarves on upright wooden slats, a banner for every day of the year, confront those entering the “Unlimited” show with major projects like a company to ward off aggression. The Italian artist Mario Ceroli called his installation “Project for Peace” when he first presented it in 1968, a year of political turmoil. The new edition of the work brought by the Cardi Gallery in Milan has not lost any of its relevance: the atmosphere in the face of global conflicts is once again heated with controversy.
